Robert Hathaway

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Robert, our loving and devoted father, husband, grandfather and friend to all whose lives he touched.

Robert Earl Hathaway (Robby) after a long-fought battle with cancer, Robby, 54, passed peacefully in his home on January 6th, 2025, with his wife Shanon and daughter Alia at his side.

Robert was born on December 17, 1970, in Denver, Colorado to Donald Hathaway and Bonny Radcliff. Robert attended Montbello High School, where he met his wife, Shanon in 1987. Life took them on different paths; however, they were reunited almost 20 years later. They started dating in 2015, then married May 23, 2016, shortly after Robert moved to Ada, Oklahoma. Robert worked as a custom carpet fabricator for Aurora Rug Binding for 23 years in Aurora, CO, then as a maintenance technician at MSA Safety for 4 years here in Ada, Oklahoma. Robert loved to fly his drones, star-gaze, work on computers or anything new technology, ride his motorcycle, and go to drag races. He always offered to help anyone in need.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald Hathaway and Bonny Radcliff. He leaves behind his wife Shanon L. Hathaway, his brother Michael Radcliff and his wife, Sherry. Daughters Winter Rose Smallbone, Michelle Arbuckle and Alia Shaw and her wife, Destiny. Grandchildren, Vivian, Zadrean  Dominic, Lowak, Jean and many other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Robert will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Chickasaw Nation Community Center in Ada, OK. Chad Estes will be conducting the services.
