ROBERT FULTON
ADA-Graveside services for Robert Murl Fulton, 89, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rev. John Haynes will officiate. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.
Mr. Fulton died Thursday, September 27, 2012 at a local nursing home. He was born August 18, 1923 in the Pecan Grove Community, south of Ada to Robert and Essie Johnson Fulton. He attended schools at Pecan Grove and Latta.
Mr. Fulton was a routeman for Mead Bakery and later Rainbow Bakery, retiring after 40 years of service. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II from June 8, 1944 until being honorably discharged on July 3, 1946. He received Silver Star and two Bronze Star Medals. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a brother, Glen Fulton of Ada; two nieces, Pam Foster of Florida and Kim Harris of Ada; and a great nephew, Jarred Miller of Tulsa.
