REV. ROBERT EBERLE
ADA-Services for Rev. Robert Joseph Eberle, 66, of Ada, are 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Ada Baptist Temple, Revs. Mickey Hollars will officiate. Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery.
Rev. Eberle died Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at his home. He was born May 1, 1947 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma to Ralph Matthew and Barbra Ellen LeCompte Eberle. He attended Cully school near Sasakwa and graduated from Sasakwa High School. He attended East Central University in Ada and the Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri.
He married Lois Ann Brown on July 2, 1966 in Wetumka, Oklahoma. Rev. Eberle was a realtor and the founder and pastor of the Ada Baptist Temple for 33 years. He served in the National Guard from 1967 until 1969.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Eberle, of the home; a daughter, Jess Eberle of Ada; one sister, Wanda Bean and her husband Wayne of Ada; a brother, Ray Eberle and his wife Barbara of Morrison, OK; six nieces and nephews; and 10 great nieces and great nephews.
Rev. Eberle was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Mack and Ralph.
Bearers will be Tim Briggs, Bill Ross, Julius Roppel, Charles Brady, Shane Sweeney and Terry Wright. Honorary bearers will be all the member of Ada Baptist Temple.
