Our beautiful baby boy, River Hashtahli Schafer Morgan, was born and joined his Creator on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at 4:31 p.m. He was 12 inches long and weighed 3 pounds, 5.6 ounces. Private family services will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.

He is survived by his parents Destany (Schafer) and Larry Morgan; big brother Ison Morgan; grandparents Todd and Traci Schafer, Larry Sr. and Donna Morgan, and Teresa Miller; great-grandparents Phyllis Schafer and AJ Williams, Liz and Larry Shaw, Ginny Schafer, and Thomas and Sandi Miller; aunts and uncles Zachary and Sarah Schneider, Melissa and Andy Shelton, Monica Brown, Lindsey and Edward ("Tyler") Morgan, William ("Bill") Morgan, and Jonathan and Angela Sanders; and cousins Wesley Schneider and Heather and Ian Brown.

He was preceded in death by big brother Lawson Morgan; and great-grandparents Bill and Alta Clair Morgan, Don Schafer, and Bennie Ison.

We are so blessed to have had him in our lives, if only for a short time. Rest in Peace, River Hashtahli Schafer Morgan.
