Rita Marie Martinez

Rita Marie Martinez, 59, of Ada, Oklahoma, passed away on January 26, 2025, at her home.  She was born on July 10, 1965, in Upland, California, to Fernando M. Martinez and Antonia Cortez.

Rita was a devoted mother and grandmother, whose love for her family knew no bounds. She leaves behind her beloved sons, Michael Orozco and Peter Orozco, her cherished daughter, Theresa Alvarez and her grandchildren, Alexis Orozco, Alivia Orozco, Evan Alvarez, and Ethan Alvarez.  Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Fernando and Antonia.

She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Criswell Funeral Home from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ada, Oklahoma. Father Jarek will officiate the service.

Rita's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, and she will forever be remembered for her nurturing spirit and love for her family.
