Rita Loder
Services for Rita Gale Loder, 70, of Ardmore are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at the Chickasaw Community Center; Pastor Allen Beck and Pastor Randy Wade will officiate. Burial will follow at High Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm on Monday at Criswell Funeral Home in Ada.
Rita departed Wednesday, October 16, 2024, in Oklahoma City. She was born July 21, 1954 in Ada to Edward and Carol Nelson Factor.
She graduated from Latta High School and she was married to Doug Loder. Rita was the Chickasaw Nation Tribal Election Secretary for many years. She has also been employed with the Chickasaw Nation since June 6, 1988.
Rita was a very passionate and giving person. She was a motherly person to all of her family. Rita loved her dogs (Alex and Rock), watching movies, and going to concerts. She enjoyed giving nicknames to people, watching OU Football, Kansas City Chiefs, and Chickasaw Nation Bull Fights.
Survivors include her husband, Doug Loder of the home; two sons, Bo Ellis and wife, Miranda of Ada and Jonathan Walters and wife, Raina of Coalgate; step-daughter, Melanie Petty of Ardmore; four brothers, Rodney Factor of Wolf, OK, Terry Factor and wife, Keisha of Ada, Mark Factor of Ada, and Paul Factor and wife, Christina of Shawnee; sister, Lori Rose Factor Randolph and husband, Randy of Grove, OK; three grandchildren, Levi "Scooter" Ellis, Melissa "Peanut" Ellis, and Jaydon Walters; step-grandson, Ethan Petty; and two great grandchildren, Conway "Hondo" Ellis and Osi "Ca'te" Hill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Lee Factor and Carol Jean Nelson, and one brother, Kendell Nance.
Bearers are Levi Ellis, Jaydon Walters, Sunhawk Hill, John Carpentar, Matt Haney, and Brian Futischa.
The family invites those who wish to make memorial donations to the Ardmore Animal Shelter, located at 321 Carol Brown Blvd., Ardmore, OK.
