Ricky Bishop

Memorial services for Ricky Carl Bishop, 66, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Bishop passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born August 30, 1950 at Ada to James Harlen and Bertha Lavonne McGuffee Bishop.

He married Ida Clareca Houchen September 24, 1976 in Seminole. Mr. Bishop worked in the Sanitation Department for the City of Ada.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Lawrence and wife Amber of Meeker and Dustin Bishop and wife Shekinah of Oklahoma City; a brother, Greg Bishop of California; sister, Terry Bailey and husband George of Stockton, CA; ten grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a son, Scotty Houchen; and a sister, Patsy Bishop.
