RICHARD E. STOLTZ ADA-Graveside services for Richard Edwin Stoltz, 87, of Ada, are 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Lockhart Cemetery in Lockhart, Texas. His grandson, Jordan Young will officiate. Mr. Stoltz died Friday, February 17, 2012, at a local nursing home. He was born June 11, 1924, in Bentonville, Arkansas, to Harmon and Emma Waggoner Stoltz. He attended Summit Schools in Bentonville and moved to Ada in 1970. Ada High School presented him a high school diploma. Mr. Stoltz married Opal Cowden. She preceded him in death. He later married Linda Stick Cosper on February 28, 1998. Mr. Stoltz was a leasee for Sun Oil Company from 1946 until retiring in 1970. He lived in Arkansas, Mississippi, Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ada, a member of the Ada Elks Lodge #119 AF & AM and had served in the U. S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Survivors include his wife, Linda Stoltz, of the home; a son, Raun Stoltz and his wife Karen of Graham, Texas; a daughter, Linda Lorene Young and her husband Ronnie of Houston, TX; eight grandchildren, Jordan Young, Jacob Young, Jerin Thompson, Jennifer Collins, Daun Rios, Sarah Truden, Blake Stoltz and Max Stoltz; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Betty Meredith and her husband Jimmy of Tulsa; two brothers-in-law, Bob Stick and Joe Stick, both of Ada; and sisters-in-law, Jean Wyche, LaNell Jackson, Marilyn Stick and Margie Stick, all of Ada.
