RETA THURMAN
ADA- Services for "Reta" Diane Thurman, 46, of Ada, are 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Criswell Chapel, Rev. Darren Preston officiating. Burial will follow at the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Francis.
Ms. Thurman was born June 15, 1967 in Ada to Albin Eugene and Sandra Lee Fowler Parker. She graduated from Ada high School and attended East Central University. She was of the Baptist faith and had worked as a social worker with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. She enjoyed traveling and being with her grandson.
Survivors include her Best Companion, Keith Brown of the home; grandson, Michael Thurman of the home; son, Matt Thurman, Stillwater; Brothers, Michael Parker, Ada; Jimmy Parker and wife Vicky, Ada; Billy Gene Bishop, Holdenville; uncles, Teddy Fowler, Francis; James Fowler and wife Cheryl, Francis; aunts, Terry Fowler, Francis; Karla Sue Walker, Garland, TX; numerous nieces, nephews including Justin Allen and Jennifer Leah Parker and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Tina Ruth Parker.
Bearers will be Jeff Gray, Austin Brown, Braden Shelton, Jimmy Parker, Bobby Stone and Keith Brown.
