RAYMOND SUMMERS
DENISON, TEXAS-Graveside services for Raymond Eugene Summers, 81, Denison, TX, are 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Rosedale Cemetery, Rev. Junior Scroggins will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until noon Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mr. Summers died Sunday, April 11, 2010 at a Denison, TX hospital. He was born November 9, 1928 at Ada, Oklahoma to Matt and Lula Mossier Summers.
He married Frankie Faye Douglas on June 2, 1972. Mr. Summers was a sheet metal worker until his retirement. He was of the Baptist faith and had served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 38 years, Frankie Faye Summers, of the home; his children, Don Summers, Kathie Summers Carman, Diane Summers, Sheila Summers Merritt, Jim Summers, Dena Wood, Tom Patterson, Bobby Patterson, and Debi Andrews; seventeen grandchildren; and twenty-six great grandchildren.
