RAY MARSHALL
ADA-Services for Ray Edgar Marshall, 61, Ada, are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Union Valley Baptist Church, Revs. Greg Newton and Randall Christy officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Marshall died Friday, July 13, 2012, at his home. He was born Sept. 18, 1950, to Oades Edgar and Vivian Fountain Marshall at Hobart, Oklahoma. He attended grade school at Francis and high school at Allen. Mr. Marshall was owner of Marshall Construction and was the founder of the Ada Opry. He was a Baptist.
He and Debbie Marshall were married July 29, 1991, at Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie, of the home; a daughter, Carrie Ann Marshall, Lubbock, Texas; four sons, Cody Mac Marshall and wife Laurie, Dallas, Texas, Casey Ray Marshall and wife Whitney, Oklahoma City, Justin Blaine Colbert, Ada, Brian Colbert and wife Jacqueline, Midwest City; two brothers, Paul Marshall, Dallas, Texas, and Lloyd Marshall, Idalou, Texas; three sisters, Loretta Dawson, Denison, Texas, Lavelle Haigood, Ada, Lynnette Abbott, Idalou; two grandsons, Trystan Marshall, of the home, Colton Marshall, Lubbock; and six granddaughters, Courtney Jackson, Lubbock, Texas, Maycie Colbert, Midwest City, Caitlin Sewell, Lubbock, Caleigh Sewell, Lubbock, Meghan Marshall, Dallas, McKenzie Marshall, Dallas. He was loved by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Bill Marshall and Ed Marshall, and two sisters, Bertie Stewart and Jo Ann Pierce.
Bearers are Dwayne Yoesting, Junior Berkley, Harry Crenshaw, Kenny Vogt, Gaylen Marshall and Paul Pratt.
