Randy D. Johnson

Memorial services for Randy Derrall Johnson, 58, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Johnson died Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at a nursing care center in Antlers.  He was born September 27, 1960 in Ada to Derrall and Patricia Hughes Johnson.  He graduated from Byng High School and served in the Oklahoma National Guard.

He attended Shear Power Academy and retired as a barber and owner of Snips Hair Design.  Mr. Johnson was a member of the Evangelistic Temple, now Crosspointe Church, an avid fisherman, O.U. football fan, loved gardening, landscaping, and playing with his grandkids.

Survivors include a daughter, Charity Sorrells and husband Donnie of Antlers; son, Jordan Johnson and wife Leah of Ada; parents, Pat and Don Venable of Ada; three brothers, Rob Johnson and wife Kim of Ada, Gary Johnson and wife Susan of Ada, Brian Johnson and wife Cynthia of Gallup, NM; three sisters, Cheryl Smith of Oklahoma City, Donna Manning and husband Mike of Ada and Janie Kirby and husband Clay of Ada; six grandchildren, Austin Sorrells, Ryan Sorrells, Colton Sorrells, Amillio Sorrells, Katie Sorrells and Paxton Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Derrall Johnson; an uncle, Jerry Johnson; brother-in-law, Curt Smith; grandparents, R. D. and Christine Johnson and Bill and Irene Diamond.
