Randy began his working career in Ada at Evergreen Feed Mills and worked his way through college.    Following his college graduation he decided to follow in his father's footsteps as a coach with his first career job being at Holdenville, Oklahoma as an assistant coach.

Randy enjoyed family time with his son Joe David (Joey) and daughter Cynthia Lynn (Cyndie).  Randy continued being active in sports by assisting with coaching his son's little league team.  When his daughter Cyndie came along she was the apple of her daddy's eye and he was extremely proud of her.
