ADA-Private family services will be held for Ralph Gerald Jackson, 82, of Ada.
Mr. Jackson died Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at a local hospital. He was born August 1, 1927 at Russellville, Arkansas to Fred J. and Zesper Jewell Hallum Jackson.
He married Omegia Jewel Brown on March 27, 1947. They moved to this area in 1971 from Alamogordo, New Mexico. He was a former owner of Ada Tire Center, a member of the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce, and had served in the U. S. Army Air Corps from 1945 until 1947.
The family says those who wish may make memorials to the Leukemia Research Foundation, 3520 Lake Ave., Ste. 202, Wilmette, IL 60091.
