Rachel Fae Jones-Welch

Services for Rachel Fae Jones-Welch, 54, of Atoka are 12:00 noon, Friday, April 26, 2024 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Chad Kaminski will officiate.  Burial will follow at Centrahoma Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Welch passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024 at her home. She was born May 19, 1969 at Oroville, California to William Clarence and Lela Mae Compton Jones. She attended school in Brooklyn, Arkansas, and Tupelo Public School in Tupelo and acquired her GED. She then went on to attend Vo-Tech school for Nursing. Rachel was a Cashier at the Caddo Superette. Rachel and Donald Welch enjoyed 30 years together before tying the knot on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Atoka. Rachel enjoyed reading, painting, coloring and walking. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Rachel is survived by her husband, Donald Welch, of the home; daughter, Felica Allen and husband Josh Casey of Caney; sons, Travis Allen of Moore and Dalton Welch and wife Brittany of MO; grandchildren, Memphis, Savannah, Evani, Madlynn, Rifle, Atroyu; step-daughter, Trina Welch of Tushka; step-granddaughter, Seirra Welch of Tushka; sisters, Hester Jones of Ada and Mildred Hisaw of AR; mother-in-law, Nadine Welch of Cartwright; sisters-in-law, Shirley White, Dora Welch, Carol Parson, and Lisa Maxey; along with 13 nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends that will miss her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lela Mae (Compton) Jones; nephew, Terry Greer; sister, Mable Pole; brother, Clarence Jones, Jr.; and granddaughter, Bristol Welch.

Bearers will be Travis Allen, Dalton Welch, Donald Long, Jeremy Gibson, Larry Campbell, Josh Casey and Darryl Maxey.
