R. J. ETCHIESON
ROFF-Services for R. J. "Richie" Etchieson, 81, Roff, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Gene Teel will officiate. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Roff.
Mr. Etchieson died Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at a Shawnee hospital. He was born February 22, 1928 at Roff, Oklahoma to Rush and Goldie Etchieson. He attended Roff schools.
He married Dorothy York. Mr. Etchieson was the owner of a construction business and later was a tool pusher for the oil industry.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Etchieson, of the home; one son, Richard Earl Etchieson, Roff; a sister-in-law, Nova Ivey, Roff; and two brothers-in-law, Bill York, Oklahoma City and Raymond Peyton York, Oklahoma City.
