Mr. Akins died Thursday, May 24, 2012, at a local hospital. He was born February 26, 1948 in Ada, Oklahoma to Clyde Leonard Akins and Don Dean Hardwick Akins.
Mr. Akins was a carpenter.
Survivors include two sisters; Altha Edens of Allen and Peggy Greene of Allen, three brothers; Harold Akins of Allen, Kenneth Earl Akins of Perryton, Texas and Larry Thomas Akins of Hewitt, Texas and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
