Phyllis Stark

A Celebration of Life for Phyllis Ann Stark, 90, of Fitzhugh, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Fitzhugh Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate.

Mrs. Stark passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025, in Oklahoma City. She was born on July 19, 1935, in Fitzhugh, to Arthur and Thelma (Hughes) Hart.

On March 5, 1953, she married Jack Stark. Mrs. Stark graduated from Fitzhugh High School and later earned her master's degree in education. She taught in Irving, Texas, for 20 years before retiring in 1990. Mrs. Stark enjoyed camping, reading, and spending time at the Senior Citizens Center in Roff.

Survivors include her daughter, Becky Pittman and husband Dennis, of Fitzhugh; one brother, Dwight Hart, of Ada; grandchildren, Tony Huber, Jennifer York, Tera McCullar, Jason Ebey, Sean Baker, Alyssa Baker, and Denny Wayne Pittman; great-grandchildren, Tyler York, Ashlynn York, Makynze York, Leah McCullar, Ella McCullar, Brianna Huber, Logan Huber, Denny Layne Pittman, Jason Jr., and Jayce Ebey; and great-great-grandchildren, Berkley York, Nash York, Holton Jack York, and Oaklynn Webster.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Thelma Hart; her husband, Jack Stark; her daughter, Cathy Baker; her brother, Jimmie Dale Hart; and her grandson, Jason Ebey.
