PHYLLIS LENARD
ADA-Services for Phyllis A. Lenard, 76, Ada are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Robert McGowan will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Lenard died Monday, October 11, 2010 at a local hospital. She was born February 7, 1934 at Fredonia, Kansas to Eddie Vinncil and Lois Irene Hare Spaht. She graduated from Lafontaine, Kansas High School.
She married Isaac Herbert Lenard on December 26, 1981 in Weatherford, Texas. Mrs. Lenard was previously employed with Texas Instruments and later with the Army Air Force Exchange Services in Dallas, TX.
Survivors include her husband, Herbert Lenard, of the home; two daughters, Cindy Bettsill, Guatemala and Tamara Tarter, Arlington, TX; one son, Randall Tarter, Euless, TX; two step-sons, Herbie Lenard, Ada, and Mike Lenard, Chesapeake, Virginia; step-daughter, Shannon Lenard, Livingston, TX; a brother, Jack Spaht, McPherson, KS; and three sisters, Doris McGregor, Rogers, AR, Karen Racliff, McPherson, KS and Kathy Brown, Fredonia, KS; 22 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Mike.
Bearers will be Jordan Betsill, Billy Betsill, Joe Betsill, Leland Betsill, Randy Tarter and Herbie Lenard.
