PHYLLIS ESTES
ADA-Services for Phyllis Jean Estes, 79, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Clancy Davis will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Estes died Thursday, December 18, 2014 at her home. She was born October 29, 1935 in Ada, Oklahoma to Dolan W. and Adina Myrtle Hubbert Todd. She graduated from Ada High School.
She married Gerald Wilburn Estes, Sr. on June 26, 1953 in Ada. He preceded her in death on November 24, 1996. Mrs. Estes was the Esteé Lauder representative at the Smart Shoppe in Ada for 18 years. Later, she worked for the Ada United Way and the Green Thumb Program with the Department of Human Services. She was a member of the Ada First Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Diana Carey and her husband Billy of Ada; two sons, Gerald "Bud" Estes and Rick Estes and his wife Lisa, all of Ada; five grandchildren, Todd Osborne and wife Christy of Allen, J. J. Osborne and wife Britany of Ada, Jenna Marie Owens and husband Gary of Pauls Valley, Joe Estes and wife Sarah, of Ada, and Bart Estes of Oklahoma City; ten great-grandchildren, Kelly Osborne and Tara Osborne, both of Allen, Elijah Osborne of Premium, KY, Jaya Osborne, Taya Osborne and Jaxon Osborne, all of McRoberts, KY, Marlee Sexton and Jagger Sexton, both of Ada, and Izzy Estes and Emma Joe Estes, both of Ada; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Diana Sampson.
Bearers will be Todd Osborne, J. J. Osborne, Joe Estes, Bart Estes, Dobber Bingamon, King Bingamon, Jamie Sampson and Ryan McMahan.
