Phyllis Balch

Services for Phyllis Ann Balch, 69, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Dennis Heath will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mrs. Balch passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017 at a Shawnee hospital. She was born April 11, 1947 in Paris, TX to James and Amy Luster Dobbs. She and her family moved to California where she attended school.

She married Johnnie Lee Balch December 28, 1964. He preceded her in death March 28, 2015. She and her family moved back to this area in 1980 from California and she retired from the Wrangler Company.

Survivors include a son, Brad Balch and his wife Penny of Ada; a daughter, Jana Ronk and her husband Blake of Ada; one brother, David Dobbs of Hayesville, KS; three sisters, Billye Sue Jones and husband Jerry of Waterville, WA, Lynda Crouch of Hot Springs, AR and Terri Jackson of Hot Springs, AR; three grandchildren, Deryk Ronk and wife Tori, Autumn Balch and Chance Balch; a great-grandson, Ryeker Ronk; and a great-granddaughter, Logyn Ronk.

Bearers will be Deryk Ronk, Chance Balch, Blake Ronk, David Dobbs, Allen Balch and Eddy Boggus.
