Philip Dewayne Davis

Memorial services for Philip Dewayne Davis, 61, of Ada will be held Friday, September 28, 2018 in Coalgate.

Mr. Davis passed away Monday, July 30, 2018 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born September 28, 1956 in Marlow to Virgle Leon and Lois Louise Crawford Davis.

Mr. Davis was a tank welder all over the United States until an accident in 1998 left him paralyzed. He had a passion for the U. S. Marines, for horses, old westerns and rodeos. He was a gypsy all his life.

Active in the Marines in Platoon #2139, Charlie Company MCRD, San Diego he graduated March 5, 1975, then served in the National Guard Reserve until 1980.

Survivors include two daughters, Ashlee Louise Scali and husband Fabian and Lindsey Beth Hisaw and husband Derek; his grandchildren, Jake Hisaw, Allen, Nicholas Scali, Amarillo, TX, Cleeton Hisaw, Allen, and Nathan Scali, Amarillo, TX; five brothers, Bob Wade, Tulsa, Russell Davis, Ada, Vance Davis, Langhorne, PA, Charlie Davis, Marlow and Jack D. Nolen, II (Skimp), Lawton; four sisters, Cindy Golden, Houston, TX, Susan Myers, Houston, TX, LouAnn Davis, Marlow and Jill Calhoon, Alexandria, LA; his step-father, Jack D. Nolen, Alexandria, LA; best-friend, Pat Meadows, NC; a son he never had, Clint Mowdy and wife Amy of Coalgate.

He was preceded in death by his father, Virgle L. Davis in 2012, and his mother, Lois "Louise" Crawford Nolen in 2016.
