Phercella Wells
Services for Phercella Mae Lois Wells, 83, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Her grandsons, Jared Wells and Jeffrey Wells will officiate. Burial will follow at the Wells Valley Cemetery near Bromide. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wells passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016 at her home. She was born November 8, 1932 in Coalgate to Archie and Maggie McKinney Cogburn. She attended Centrahoma schools and graduated from Centrahoma High School.
She married Charles Morgan Wells June 2, 1951. He preceded her in death April 21, 2015. Mrs. Wells was a homemaker and she was a consummate volunteer at the Stonegate Nursing home in Stonewall and the Chickasaw Nation Nutrition Center. She was a member of the East Main Church of Christ in Stratford.
Survivors include a son, Danny Wells and his wife Betty of Stratford; a daughter, Malipsa Wells of Stonewall; daughter-in-law, Sandra Wells of Ada; her grandchildren, Shamus Wells and wife Kay, Cassie Bevelhymer, Katie Wells, Jared Wells and wife Rachel, Jeffrey Wells and wife Hannah and Micah Wells; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Maxine Morris and husband Duane, Evelyn Gianflippo and Jo Shepherd and husband Travis; and one brother, Leo Cogburn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Wayneth Wells; three brothers; and four sisters.
Bearers will be Jared Wells, Jeffrey Wells, Shamus Wells, Pat Savage, Paul Savage and Joe Lambert. Honorary bearers will be Ty Wells, Dalton Musser, Jimmy Lambert, John Lambert and Men of the East Main Church of Christ in Stratford.
