Peter Waddell

Peter Michael Waddell, 76 of Ada, passed away on September 13th, 2026, at Mercy hospital surrounded by family. Peter was born on August 22, 1950, in Oklahoma City, and grew up in Midland Texas, graduating from Midland Lee High School in 1968. 

Peter attended Texas State Technical Institute where he attained his associate degree in Horticulture and Photography. He managed and owned LoneOak Vineyards and Orchard in Crafton Texas from 1984 till 2014. He Moved to Ada, Oklahoma to help his brother put in Waddell Vineyards where he was employed until 2023. Peter was an avid photographer from 1979 to 1984 working in Corpus Christi and owned Peter Waddell Photography, where he specialized in commercial photography and photo restoration.

 Peter is survived by his brother, Robert Waddell and wife, Debbie, his sister, Shelly Taylor of Jacksonville, TX and many nieces and nephews.

 Peter was preceded in death by his son Elliot Waddell, parents Patrcia Joan Waddell and Leo J Waddell.

 A private celebration of life will be held at the Waddell Home on the 26th of September.
