PEGGY YOUNG

ADA-Services for Peggy Louise Young, 81, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Legacy Church in Ada, Rev. Scott Miller will officiate. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Young died Saturday, August 30, 2008 at a local nursing home. She was born July 9, 1927 at Allen, Oklahoma to George Lee Bain, Sr. and Cora Wanda Tipton Bain. She attended Allen schools.

Mrs. Young was a homemaker.

Survivors include a daughter, Karen Muck and husband Terry, Ada; two brothers, Wayne Bain and wife Audrey, Dickinson, Texas, and Harvey Bain, Allen; three sisters, Wanda Gary and husband Grady, Pasadena, California, Jean Jordan, Monet, Missouri, and Roberta Miller and husband Dale, Stratford; three grandchildren, Hannah Muck, Jason Young, and Joey Young; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Delbert Walter "Bubba" Young, Jr., two brothers, Leroy Bain and G. W. Bain, and a brother-in-law, Max Jordan.

Bearers will be Brent Bain, Robert Miller, Dustin Bain, Randy Story, Jason Young, and Bud Tipton. Honorary bearers will be Ronnie Jordan, Lorne Bain, Clifford Bain, Luke Young, Austin Young, and Allen Miller.
