Peggy Stowe

Services for Peggy Darlene Stowe, 66, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at High Hill Baptist Church, Rev. Walter Pitts will officiate. Burial will follow at High Hill Cemetery.

Ms. Stowe passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born April 26, 1951 in Ada to Adam and Viola Miller Walker.

Ms. Stowe was a sales clerk for the gift shop at the Chickasaw Nation Senior Site in Ada and for Red Road. She was also a seamstress for the Chickasaw Dance Troupe. Ms. Stowe was a member of Caring Hearts along with Mary Jo Green and Carol Davis.

Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Marris of Ada; two sons, Garry Daniels and Taye Daniels; three sisters, Betty MCurley of Ft. Smith, AR, Lois Bell of Stonewall and Ruby Long of Ada; three brothers, Johnny Walker, Adam Lynn Walker and Gary Walker, all of Ada.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Viola Marris; a son, Patrick Allen Marris; and a sister, Frances Miller.

Bearers will be Greg Cozad, Mark Winchester, Jr., Justin Berst, Bruce Bell, Gary Lynn Miller and Billy J. Long. Honorary bearer will be Johnny Walker.
