PEGGY WINTON-JAMES
ADA-Memorial services for Peggy Jeanette Winton James, 75, Ada, are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Blue Baptist Church, Rev. Larry Hawkins officiating.
Mrs. James died July 1, 2011, at a Sulphur hospital. She was born Nov. 6, 1935, to Clyde Henry and Pearl Mildred (Wilson) Walker at Vanoss. She graduated from Ada's Horace Mann School and was an owner and operator of a daycare, MeMe's Place. She was a member of Blue Baptist Church.
She and Jimmy James were married in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy, of the home; a son, Tony Winton and wife Ima Jean, Stonewall; a daughter, Julie Ozbirn and husband Lonnie, Sulphur; a sister, Judye Faye Myers and husband Don, Mena, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Landon Winton, Leyton Winton and Tanner Winton; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
