PEGGY FITTER

ADA-Services for Peggy Fitter, 78, Ada, are 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Father Rusty Hewes will officiate. Burial will follow at Hess Cemetery in Hess, Oklahoma at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. A rosary service will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Fitter died Friday, May 2, 2008 at her home. She was born November 25, 1929 at Paris, Texas to W.B. and Pearl Shelby Moseley. She and her family moved to Ada in 1967 from Enid, Oklahoma. She graduated from Hugo High School and later graduated from Oklahoma A&M University in 1951.

She married Sylvester J. "Sy" Fitter on June 9, 1951. She was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, a member of St. Joseph Golden club and a member of the Healthy Heart Club of Valley View Regional Hospital. She loved and was loved by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Casey Webb, a brother, James Moseley, and a sister, Patsy Moseley.

Survivors include her husband, Sy Fitter, of the home; three daughters, Patricia Cox and husband Daryl, Dallas, TX, Deborah Perry and husband Lynn, Austin, TX, and Evelyn Parsons and husband Patrick, Edmond, OK; one son, Sidney J. Fitter and wife Kelley, Broken Arrow, OK; one brother, Bill Moseley, Paris, TX; nine grandchildren, Zachary Fitter, Jessica Bailey, Dustin Cox, Derek Cox, Carrie Cox, Kristen Ripperda, Stephanie Flurry, Ford Parsons and Gage Parsons; two great grandchildren, Casey Ray Cox and Hudson Bailey; and many nieces and nephews.

Bearers will be her sons-in-law and grandsons.
