Pearl Lindsey

Graveside services for Pearl Opal Lindsey, 92, of Ada are 1:00 p.m. Friday at Cedar Grove Cemetery near Francis, Rev. Ken Wolf will officiate.

Mrs. Lindsey passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at a local nursing home. She was born March 21, 1925 at Heavener to henry J. andn Stella Keffer Haney.

She married Joseph Lindsey August 3, 1962. He preceded her in death May 26, 1991. Mrs. Lindsey was a homemaker and had also worked at the Byng and Homer School Cafeteria for many years. She was a member of Harmony Free Will Baptist Church and was a member of the Cedar Grove First Free Will Baptist Church for many years.

Survivors include a son, Dale Lindsey and his wife Debbie of Ada; two grandsons, Matthew Lindsey and his wife Courtney of Edmond, and Michael Lindsey of Ada; a great-grandchild; three brothers, Cecil Haney, Lloyd Haney and Kenneth Haney, all of Fresno, CA; and a sister, Jewel Allison of Fresno, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lois Dollar; and four brothers, Burl, Henry Jr., Ted and Benjamin Haney.

Bearers will be Matthew Lindsey, Michael Lindsey, Tad Davis, Ryan Williams, Dustin Olson and Gary Curry.
