MONTROSE, COLORADO-Graveside services for Pauline Francis Lewis, 87, Montrose, CO, formerly of Stratford, are 2:00 p.m. Monday at McGee Cemetery near Stratford. Rev. Bob Langston will officiate.
Mrs. Lewis died Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at a Montrose, CO hospital. She was born September 22, 1922 at Vernon, Texas to Frederick and Ann Mae Smith Rogers.
She married Donald Lewis in 1945 at Bakersfield, California. He preceded her in death on June 20, 2006. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis moved to Stratford about 33 years ago from Lake Isabella, California. Mrs. Lewis was a cashier at the Isabella Supermarket for 20 years and she and her husband were active in the Rodeo Association in Isabella.
Survivors include a daughter, Ann Barnes, Montrose, CO; a son, Roger French, Jacksonville, FL; a step-daughter, Judy Ross, Oklahoma City; a step-son, Ronnie Lewis, Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; twenty-four great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews in Oklahoma.
