PAULINE FAULKENBERRY
ADA-Graveside services for Pauline Margaret Faulkenberry, 94, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rev. Earl Hood will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Faulkenberry died Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at a local nursing home. She was born May 22, 1919 in Vanoss, Oklahoma to Allen and Della Byerly Yarberry. She attended Vanoss grade school and graduated from Vanoss High School.
She married Lester L. Faulkenberry on February 19, 1938. He preceded her in death on April 21, 1996. Mrs. Faulkenberry was a house-parent at McCall's Chapel until her retirement and also a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Skibsted and husband John, Ada, and Barbara Horton, Eufaula; one son, Mike Faulkenberry and wife LaWanna of Guthrie; her grandchildren, Heather and Tyler Reed, Ada, Andrew and Marla Kimbrell, Konawa, Jeff Farmer and Tonya, Checotah, David and Tisha Farmer, Allen, Michael Faulkenberry and wife Blair, Guthrie, Michelle and Eddie Johnson, Guthrie and Dennis Faulkenberry, Miami, OK; 20 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Kenneth W. Faulkenberry; a grandson, Lonnie Faulkenberry; and her brothers and sisters, Ollie Manuel, Opal Bottoms, Lester Yarberry, Lavella Smith, Georgia Yarberry, Don Yarberry and Geneva Schribner.
