Pauletta Samis

Pauletta Faye Samis, age 53, of McAlester, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 in McAlester. A memorial service to honor Pauletta's life will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. David Louis will officiate the service. The family will welcome friends on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

She was born July 12, 1971, in Talihina, OK to Henry Frank and Mary Jane Wilson Samis.

Pauletta is survived by her sons, Taylor Samis and his fiancée Danielle, and Joshua Samis; her brother, Dewey Samis; and her sister, Rose Samis. She is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brothers: Edward Samis, Buddy Samis, and Roy Samis; and her sisters: Dorothy Samis, Betty Southerland, Bobby Samis, Linda DeLeon, Raynell Serna, and Kathlene Kaye Samis.

Pauletta will be remembered for her kind spirit and the love she shared with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
