Paul Houston West, 76, of Ada, OK passed away on April 11,2024 in Shawnee, OK.

Paul was born on December 5, 1947 to Houston and Doris West in Houston, TX. After graduating from Ada High School in 1965, he joined the US Navy from 1967–1971, then graduated from East Central University in 1975.

In 1971, he met Janie Gray while attending East Central University. They married in 1975 and went on to have two sons, Brent and Scott.

In 2012, he retired from the US Postal Service after 33 years. Paul loved his country and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also an avid Harley enthusiast.

Paul was preceded by his parents, Doris and Houston, and brother Robert West.

He is survived by his wife, Janie West, sons, Brent, and Scott, grandchildren, Brent, William, Alora, Rose, and Saige, sister-in-law Ellen Walden, sister-in-law Florence and husband Marcus Huddleston, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Graveside service will be held at Watson Memorial Cemetery, Oak Hill, Broken Bow, OK on April 17, 2024 at 1:00PM.
