PAUL SUTTON
ADA-Services for Paul E. Sutton, 74, Ada, are 11:00 a.m. Monday at the First Free Will Baptist Church, Rev. Carey Gerth will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Sutton died Friday, October 15, 2010 at a local hospital. He was born October 12, 1936 at Ada, Oklahoma to Alfred Herman and Edith Carmen Farr Sutton. He attended Pickett grade school and graduated from Vanoss High School. He also graduated from OSU-Tech at Okmulgee.
He married Rachel Gilstrap on April 26, 1958 at Okmulgee. Mr. Sutton was the owner of Sutton Electric in Ada. He attended the Oil Center Pentecostal Holiness Church and had served in the U. S. National Guard.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel Sutton, of the home; a son, Eric Sutton, Ada; a daughter, Aimee Watson and her husband Donald, Calvin; four grandchildren, Erica Sutton, Julia Atwood, Kaitlyn Atwood, and Dakota Dooley Watson; two sisters, Elwanda Kelso, Ada, and Donis McDonald, Pickett; four brothers, Charles Sutton, Pickett, Delton Sutton, Pickett, David Sutton, McKinney, TX, and Butch Sutton, Pickett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Evelyn King.
Bearers will be Clay Young, Mike Williamson, Eldon Lee, Kenneth Butler, J.B. Bolin and Michael McElroy.
