Paul Wayne Standridge July 15, 1947 – September 23, 2026 Paul Wayne Standridge, 79, of Allen, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. Born on July 15, 1947, at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, he was the beloved son of Elbert Owen Standridge and Velma Rae (Crownover) Standridge. Paul spent his life dedicated to serving his country and his community, having served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He went on to further his education through trade and CLEET training, ultimately building a dedicated career in law enforcement as Chief of Police for the Roff and Allen communities as well as Deputy Sheriff for Hughes County. 

On July 16, 1971, Paul married the love of his life, Debra Lynn Southerland. Together, they built a home and a family filled with love and lasting memories. Paul was a proud Choctaw citizen who took great pride in his work, his heritage, and most importantly, his role as a husband, father, and grandfather. 

Paul is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Debra Standridge of the home; his daughters, Julie Kalin Sampson and her husband David, and Melissa Love Standridge and her partner Todd; and his cherished grandchildren, Raegan Easton Sampson, Claire Elyse Sampson, Kaegan Dale Ward, Karson Paul Standridge, and Parker David Wright.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Velma Standridge; his brothers, Ronnie Dale Standridge and Enos O'dell Standridge; and his sisters, Juliet Kay Davis, Elberta Rae Washburn, Sharon Kay Sherrell, Joy Love Johnson, and Glory Ann Standridge.

 Services to celebrate Paul's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 28, 2026, at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, with Chad Kaminski officiating.
