PAUL SHAHAN

ADA-Services for Paul Warren Shahan, 71, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Shahan died Friday, March 21, 2014 at his home. He was born October 3, 1942 in Fitzhugh, Oklahoma to Alfred Alvin and Marrine Pearl Farmer Shahan. He graduated from Fitzhugh High School.

He married Sue Carol Carnes on February 15, 1962 in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Shahan was a rancher and had previously been employed with Koch Marketing in Dallas. He was a member of Fitzhugh Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Shahan, of the home; two daughters, Suzie Paschal and her husband Doug of Huntsville, TX, and Stacy Gerth and her husband Mitch of Bartlesville; five grandchildren, Jacob Paschal and wife Aubree of Huntsville, TX, Justin Paschal and wife Lourdes of Houston, TX, Wyatt Gerth, Morgan Gerth, and Braden Gerth, all of Bartlesville; four great grandchildren, Jayda Paschal, Sydney Paschal, Avery Paschal and Ty Paschal; and a brother, Carol Shahan and wife Barbara of Fitzhugh.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Harold Shahan; and a sister, Jean Turner.

Bearers will be Jacob Paschal, Justin Paschal, Wyatt Gerth, Kyle Paschal, Klint Paschal and Clyde Cabler.
