ADA-Services for Paul V. Collins, 90, Ada, are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ada First Baptist Church. The Revs. John Haynes, Harold Ware and Jerry Wells will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Collins died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at an Ada hospital. He was born Nov. 4, 1921, to Eldon and Agnes Brady Collins at Darke County, Ohio. He graduated from Ft. Recovery High School. He moved to the Ada area in 1968 from Brockway, PA, and was a glassworker. Mr. Collins was a member of Ada First Baptist Church, Ada Masonic Lodge, the Shriners and the Scottish Rite.
He and Lucille Orr Collins were married Nov. 8, 1968, in Muskogee.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille, of the home; a daughter, Carol; a step-son, Eddie Cole, Jr.; a step-daughter, Brenda Allcorn; a brother, Joseph Collins; a sister, Marcelene King; seven granddaughters, Amanda Ablott, Stephanie Cole, Jennifer Cole, Sara Scalzetti, Katie Lotz, Alyssa Allcorn and Ashton Allcorn; and three great-grandchildren, Taylor Ablott, Isaac Ablott and Addison Scalzetti.
Bearers will be Carl Wofford, James Tooley, Auston Rodgers, Wyman Ford, Dell Howry and Gene Stephens. Honorary bearers are Lester Craft, Corky Hudson and John Forster.
