PAUL BUNCH
ADA-Services for Paul Bunch, 93, Ada, are 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Mr. Michael West officiating. Burial follows at Holdenville Cemetery.
Mr. Bunch died on Friday, January 21, 2011, at a local hospital. He was born April 4, 1917, in Holdenville to John Calvin and Laura Bell Villines Bunch. He graduated from Holdenville High School and he and his family moved to Ada in 1958 from Midwest City. He was a retired salesman for Schuler Fruit Company. He served in the 179th Infantry of the National Guard, and coached Little League at the Kiwanis Ball Park. He was a member of Ada First Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years.
He married Johnnie Mae Lee on February 24, 1940.
Survivors include his wife, Johnnie Mae Bunch, of the home; two daughters, Paula West and her husband Larry, Ada; and Jo Lynn Sweat and her husband Joe, LaPlata, New Mexico; one son, Terry Bunch and his wife Ramona, Konawa; and grandchildren, Michael West, Amy Mayhue and her husband Mason; Robert Sweat and his wife Carrie; Sheree Cox and her husband Tyler; Janae Brauning and her husband Jacob; and Trey Bunch.
Bearers are Bobby Bunch, Mason Mayhue, Tyler Cox, Trey Bunch, Jacob Brauning and Denny Moore. Honorary bearers are Bill Bunch and Robert Sweat.
