Patty Rost

Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Hill City, Minnesota for Patty Charis Georgean (Fixmer) Rost, 90, of Ada.

Mrs. Rost died Sunday, January 20, 2019 at a local nursing home. She was born August 31, 1928 in Macville Township, MN to George Edward and Edna Loy Caskey Fixmer.

She married Norman Rost September 14, 1946 in Grand Rapids, MN. He preceded her in death in 2002. Mrs. Rost was a high school rodeo director in Minnesota and later a homemaker in Vanoss.

Survivors include two sons, Lanny Lee Rost and wife Jean and Jerry Alan Rost and wife Debbie; four sisters, Dee Bashaw, Colleen Wallrick, Kathy Casper and Gloria Garner; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norman; three sisters, Lois Rains, Betty Fixmer and Audrey Wilson; and three brothers, Francis Fixmer, Mervin Fixmer and Jerry Fixmer.
