Patty Beck

Patty Sue Beck-a mother, a grandmother, a daughter, a sister, a friend. She wore many hats, but no matter what hat she wore, she was loved in all of them.

Patty was born on December 29, 1957 to Johnie and Bobbie Shores. It's from this Cowboy and Cowgirl where she picked up her iconic Oklahoma drawl. Anyone who met her was welcomed with a "Howdy", which came out more like "hi-dee".

She had three girls-Tawnya, Lisa and Crystal. She also had one boy (her favorite)-Douglas.  When he left home, she'd make him cookies and tell her girls "Don't eat those, I made those for your brother".

Patty loved socializing and had friends far and wide. She loved deeply and was a kind soul. She also loved to cook and made the best fried chicken in the county (According to her kids, but they're kind of biased).

Patty left for Heaven on September 7, 2022 to be with her mother and her father as well as many other loved ones.

A celebration of life will be held in her honor on September 10 at The Tupelo Community Center starting at noon. Please feel free to join us as we remember her
