PATRICIA WHELCHEL
ADA-Services for Patricia Ann Whelchel, 39, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Dennis Heath will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Stonewall.
Ms. Whelchel died Sunday, January 25, 2009 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born February 16, 1969 at Holland, Michigan to Omer Clarence and Susan Kaye Layne Bradford. She graduated from McLish High School and attended East Central University.
Ms. Whelchel was a cartographer for Red Plains Professional Inc. in Edmond from 2005 to present and with the Chickasaw Nation Roads Program from 2001 until 2005. Formerly she was employed with the Chickasaw Nation Health Systems and Sunbelt Data Systems in Oklahoma City. She attended Union Valley Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Brittany Whelchel, Ada, and Jessica Whelchel, Connerville; one son, Blake Whelchel, Stonewall; her mother, Sue Davis, Stonewall; her father, Omer Bradford, Ada; two brothers, Kenny Davis, Bethany, and Billy Bradford, Stonewall; four sisters, Karen Walkingstick, Tuttle, Tammy Walton, Ada, Jennifer Snell, Stonewall, and Crystal Aldridge, Arizona; and two grandsons, Kaden Postoak and Jaxton Davis.
She was preceded in death by her daddy, Kenneth Davis.
Bearers will be Eric Porterfield, Anthony Whelchel, Chris Snell, Steve Walton, Malcom Casey, and Wendell Taylor Jr. Honorary bearers will be Blake Whelchel, Bill Whelchel, Billy Bradford, and Gary Davis.
