ADA-Services for Patricia Lynn "Patty" Cooper, 63, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the High Hill Baptist Church, Rev. Randy Golden will officiate. Burial will follow at High Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cooper died Friday, October 17, 2014 at her home. She was born August 19, 1951 in Lima, Ohio to Murray and Margaret Louise Johns Shulaw. She graduated from high school and attended college.
She married Spencer Dale Cooper on November 3, 1990 in Krebs, Oklahoma. Mrs. Cooper was a homemaker and a member of High Hill Baptist Church in Ada.
Survivors include her husband, Dale Cooper, of the home; her mother, Margaret Harper of Summerfield, FL; her children, Dalena Steidley and husband Eric of Ada, Amanda Seymour of Ada, Kevin Seymour and wife Angie of Maysville, and Jonathan Cooper and wife Diana of McAlester; a sister, Carol Ann Allen and husband Robert of Manteca, CA; brother, Steven Shulaw, Sr. and wife Rebekah of Lima, OH; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; her mother-in-law, Ruby McKinney; one brother-in-law, Tom Cooper; and four sisters-in-law, Jane Hill, Virginia Paulk, Pat Perry and Joy Easley; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Murray Shulaw; infant brother, David Lee Shulaw; sister, Deborah Kay DeHaven; and son, Preston James Cooper.
Bearers will be Steve Shulaw, Kevin Seymour, Eric Steidley, Jon Cooper, Jason Steidley and Tom Cooper.
