ALLEN-Services for Patricia Ann Howry, 65, Allen, are 10 a.m. Monday at Richmond Avenue Free Will Baptist Church in Allen. Her brother, Rev. Buddy Drake will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Ada. Friends may call at Criswell Funeral Home in Allen from 3 p.m. Sunday until service time.
Mrs. Howry died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010, at a Holdenville hospital. She was born Oct. 11, 1944, to Alvin and Stella Mae Patton Drake in Cushing, Oklahoma. She attended grade school in Cushing and then graduated from Allen High School in 1962. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Allen Clinic, Valley View Regional Hospital surgery with Dr. Gordon Deen and had worked the last 12 years for Ada Home Health. She was a member of the Richmond Avenue Free Will Baptist Church and of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She and Dell Howry were married Oct. 4, 1963.
Survivors include her husband, Dell, of the home; two daughters, Crystal Huffstutlar, Allen, and Dr. Sierra Howry and husband Dr. Dean Monroe, San Angelo, Texas; one brother, Buddy Drake and wife Janice, Allen; and four grandchildren, Kady, Caleb, Joshua and Jillian.
Bearers are Dean Monroe, Dee Moore, Glen Walker, Roy Allen, Steve Sullivan and Melvin Margerum.
