ADA-No services are planned at this time for Patricia Annette "Pat" Goad, 66, Ada. Interment will be at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
Ms. Goad died Sunday, November 21, 2010 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born April 4, 1944 at Omaha, Nebraska to James (Jacob) John and Hazel Ann Mortz Banks. She graduated from Westminster High School in Westminster, Colorado.
She married George William Goad on August 10, 1963. He preceded her in death in 1972. They were married for 9 years and had three children. She moved to Ada 20 years ago and married John McConnell. Together they owned and operated Broadway Bar in Ada.
Survivors include two sons, Randy William Goad, Beaumont, TX, and Rodney Wayne Goad, Ada; a daughter, Tammy Annette Mantooth and her husband Johnny, Paoli; three grandchildren, Joshua Brownell, Indianapolis, Indiana, Teniel Brownell, Slaughterville, OK, and Jessica Goad, Philpot, Kentucky; her former husband, John McConnell, Ada; three sisters, Barbara James, St. Joe, MO, Jeannette Huft, Brandon, SD, and Muriel Bassett, Phoenix, AZ; two brothers, James Banks, Eufaula, OK, and Merrill Bassett, Checotah, OK; and numerous family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, James (Jacob) John Banks in 1954; her mother, Hazel Banks-Bassett in 2004; her step-father, Merrill Bassett in 1968; her first husband, George William Goad; grandparents, Pearl Mortz, 1971 and Charles Mortz, 1972; and a sister, Darlynn Pearl Banks in 1950.
