PANSY WYLIE
ADA-Services for Pansy Jewell Wylie, 86, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. David L. Daniel and Joe Dixon will officiate. Burial will follow at Lightning Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wylie died Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at a local hospital. She was born August 1, 1927 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Charley E. and Arvie Zelia Bottoms McKay. She attended Eubanks and Tupelo schools.
She married Curtis Lee Wylie on September 23, 1950 in Lovington, New Mexico when her daughter, Donna was 2 years old. He preceded her in death March 17, 2006. Mrs. Wylie was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include three daughters, Donna Gault and her husband Tom of Allen, Judy Krebbs and her husband Steve of Ada, and Nancy House of San Antonio, TX; a sister, Wanda Evelyn Tucker of Ada; one brother, L. L. "Tommy" McKay of Huntington, TX; three grandchildren, Shelley Kerr, Elizabeth Shurley and Stacy Wylie; and three great grandchildren, Lani Shurley, Shannon Kerr, and Justin Kerr.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a step-father, William M. Smith; and her husband; a son, Curtis L. Wylie Jr.; and a brother, Charlie Junior McKay.
Honorary bearers will be Tom Gault, Steve Krebbs, Jim Carter, Marlin McKay, and Freddie Bowerman.
