ORLAN DEES
ADA-Services for Orlan H. Dees, 80, Ada, are 2 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Frank Trent officiating. Burial follows at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Dees died Friday, Aug. 13, 2010, at a local nursing home. He was born Sept. 4, 1929, to Henry and Nettie Reeves Dees at Worstell. He attended Worstell School and had been employed at Evergreen Mills, Economy Feed and Seed, Rogers OK Furniture and later at the First Baptist Church. He was a member of the Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church.
He and Vonda McDaniel were married Oct. 9, 1948, at Ada. She died Dec. 31, 2009.
Survivors include his daughter, Linda Mosley and husband Ronnie, Ada; two grandsons, Darrel Teel and friend Laura Horning, and Jason Mosley and wife Jenny, all of Ada; two granddaughters, Tina Vanlandingham, Stratford, and Angela Mosley, Oklahoma City; one sister-in-law, Lawana Cannon, Ada; two brothers-in-law, Alvis McDaniel, Ada, and Dennis McDaniel and wife Deloris, Oklahoma City; nine great-grandchildren, Amanda Davis and husband Zack, Seminole, AdamVanlandingham and Alix Vanlandingham, both of Stratford, Maci Teel, Meriah Teel, Riley Mosley and Cason Mosley, all of Ada, and Christopher Riley and Christina Riley, both of Oklahoma City; two great-great-grandchildren, Jaxson Davis and Colton Davis, both of Seminole; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law Phnaughn Deaton.
Grandsons will serve as pall bearers.
