Opal Irene Bottoms' Obituary
OPAL BOTTOMS
ADA-Services for Opal Irene Bottoms, 88, are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Earl Hood officiating. Burial follows at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Bottoms died Saturday at a local nursing home. She was born March 19, 1921, at Vanoss, to Allen Yarberry and Della Byerly Yarberry. She attended Vanoss schools and had lived all of her life in this area. She was a homemaker. She and James William Bottoms were married Dec. 18, 1937. He died Aug. 26, 1982. Mrs. Bottoms was a Baptist.
Survivors include one son, James Bottoms, Ada; two daughters, Chiqueta Joy Richardson, Stratford, and Mary Jane Farmer, Ada; one sister, Pauline Faulkenberry, Ada; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Alma Bottoms in 2003; two brothers, Lester Yarberry and Donald Yarberry; and four sisters, Lavella Smith, Ollie Manuel, Geneva Scribner and Georgia Yarberry.
Grandsons are bearers, Jimmy Bottoms, Chris Bottoms, Kenneth Richardson, Trevor
Sutton, Kerry Sutton and Devaunte Barber.
