ONA WINTERS

HARDEN CITY-Services for Ona Mae Winters, 85, Harden City, are 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Chris Brannon officiating. Burial follows at Highland Cemetery in Stonewall.

Mrs. Winters died Saturday, January 1, 2011. She was born April 5, 1925, in Seminole to James Thomas and Florence Mary Fowler Byrd. She graduated from high school in Mobile, Alabama in 1945 and moved to Harden City in 1959. She was a licensed beautician, and a 50-year member of Fittstown Baptist Church.

She married George Clifford Winters on May 8, 1959. He preceded her in death on September 21, 1986.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry Winters, Harden City; and Bobby Winters and wife Jean, Pittsburg, Kansas; three granddaughters, Lora Klusener and husband Andrew, Sarah Winters, and Lydia Winters, all of Pittsburg, Kansas; and a brother, Don Byrd, Ada.

Bearers are Todd Crabtree, Virgil Gantt, Charles Blankenship, Don Byrd, Jim Burnett and Darrell Harris.
