Graveside services for Ollie May Chick Baker, 83, of Norman, are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Brother Matt Wyatt will officiate. The family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, at Criswell Funeral Home. Military honors will be conducted at the cemetery.
Mrs. Baker died Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at a Norman VA Center. She was born January 14, 1934 east of Stringtown as the fourteenth child of Daniel Franklin and Jane Elizabeth Ivey Chick. She graduated from Stringtown High School and was proud to have served in the Women's Army Corps with her families support.
She was employed with Wrangler in Ada and Seminole as a seamstress for over 23 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Belinda Robinson of Providence Village, TX; one son, Craig Baker of Hillsboro, OR; one brother, Virgil Chick; one sister, Fannie Riley of Coalgate, and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents and eleven brothers and sisters.
