A memorial service for Norma Iris Sanabria-Ortiz, 63, of Ada will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, March 1, 2024 at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. David Gray will officiate.

Mrs. Sanabria passed away, Tuesday, February 6, 2024 in Ada. She was born January 4, 1961 in Humacao, Puerto Rico to Saturnino Sanabria and Norma Ortiz.

She married Dr. Jose Alvarez on September 27, 1996. Mrs. Sanabria was employed as a factory worker for General Electric before moving to Ada, OK in 2006 and helping in her husband's medical office until 2013.  She was also a homemaker. Norma enjoyed music, visiting with family and friends and in January was able to return to Puerto Rico to visit family.

Survivors include her husband, Dr. Jose Alvarez, of the home; one son, Ramon Carrasquillo Sanabria and wife Maribel Piñero; one daughter, Michelle Carrasquillo Sanabria and husband Raul Donato; five grandchildren, Nomar and Javier Carrasquillo and Kaliris, Kimberly and Jonas Donato; one great-grandchild, Jacob Consepcion; and special friends, Arturo and Rosa Lerma and children, Jesus, Carlos, Brandon and David, of Ada.
